Dr. Villaraza is a tenured professor and chair of the Philippine Studies Department at City College of San Francisco. She holds a PhD in History from Northern Illinois University with specializations in Southeast Asian History, Philippine History, US Immigration History, and Race and Ethnicity.

Giselle Töngi has long been active in the entertainment industry with over two decades of TV experience in both the Asian/American market. She is a recent graduate of Antioch University for her Master's in Nonprofit Management and currently serves as the Executive Director of FilAm Arts. She is an actor, producer and host of community events and programming in the Filipino- American community.
Historian, Renowned Filipino Culture Bearer
Kirby is a Filipino American historian, content creator, and renowned culture bearer. He is currently the National Coordinator for Culture and Heritage for the National Alliance for Filipino Concerns (NAFCON). Kirby is well-rooted in his culture and passionate about his heritage; he strives to empower the youth and serve the people through knowledge and creativity. He is a Dátû and Lakan by blood but an Artist-Scholar-Activist at heart.

Jennifer, a proud Ibaloi-Igorot-Filipinx-American, has been an active member of BIBAK Los Angeles, an organization formed in 1960 as a community and social support group to recent immigrants in Southern California. Fortunate to also be raised by her Grandmother Rose who practiced Ibaloi traditions and beliefs, and being involved with BIBAK Los Angeles since childhood, learning and sharing her Ibaloi culture has always been of high importance to her. And this is felt when visiting Calajo Catering, her business launched with her husband, Carlo, where “Ube is our Yam.”
